Attention: You do not need to be members to attend nor do you need an Allanté.

Like the past years, it’s not only an Allante show, it’s a vacation. This is what makes it nice for the spouse to participate and enjoy their self at this National show. There’s a lot more to do then just look at cars. Believe me I know, I got one of them. New for this year, we added a driving tour through a part of Skyline Drive. Now since it’s a weeklong advent, which I hope all can attend, but if not, you’re welcome to join us at anytime of this show. Check date and times.

Here is the itinerary of the Show…

Tuesday,

We will start out about 7pm and drive to the Best Western hotel of Luray VA.

Wednesday,

Walk to Luray caverns about 10am (hotel is that close) by 12pm, head out to the Skyline drive, it’s only 34 miles long, but will take about 2 hours to do, with all the stopping to view the mountain sides and scenery. So by 2:30 we should be on our way to Myrtle Beach. We will drive for 3 ½ hours to the Best Western in Glenrock where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Thursday,

Leave hotel by 10am or earlier and arrive at Beach Cove in Myrtle Beach by 2pm. There will still be plenty of time to get on the beach. Dinner will be at Broadway at the Beach followed by Dueling Pianos.

Friday,

Beach time! Around 4pm in the hotel lobby, I will be set up for registrations most likely near the bar. Later well go to the Alabama Theater to take in dinner and a show located at Barefoot Landings

Saturday,

Show time! By 10am, we should be lined up at Broadway on the Beach located about 5 miles from the hotel. Where we will have our judged car show with all to see. There are numerous attractions there to do and see. I dare you to be bored.

Saturday Night,

The awards banquet will start around 6:30pm till ?

Sunday,

Beach time again. You may want to stay an extra day with us to enjoy a nice peaceful day at the beach. Also we find less traffic then on a Sunday.

Things you need to do to become part of this EVENT.

1^st, Make your reservations at the Beach Cove Resort. It’s 101.92 tax and resort fees included for a one bedroom condo. If you’re a single, let me know if you wish to team up and split cost. Call them at 800-331-6533, tell them you’re with the Cadillac Allante Club

2^nd, Send car registration of 50.00 to me. This includes to enter your car in the show, receive the famous national meet plaque and all the extras in your goodie bag.

3rd, Please pick your dinner selection

             1- Grilled Salmon topped with Tomato & Peach Salsa
             2- Grilled Filet Mignon with Béarnaise Sauce
             3- Breast of Chicken Marsella with sliced Fresh mushrooms

             Then send 45.00 Per Person along with your Car registration
             If you a couple, the total will be $140.00. If single your total will be 95.00

4th, Sign up for Dinner and the Show on Friday- walking distance from the hotel
        Dinner 20.00 per person    Show 28.00 per person

5^rd, if you want to go to Luray Caverns, book you room for Tuesday night at the Best Western of Luray with a late checkout   Call 540-743-6511 Tell them the Cadillac Allante club.

6^th, Call the Best Western of Glenrock NC at 252-985-1450 for Wednesday night. Again, tell them you’re with the Cadillac Allante Club.

Now since you own an Allanté, which I feel is one of the most unique automobiles on the road today. You find yourself searching the net for new or used parts, advice, information or anything you can find for your car. Sure, you can call, write, or email other allantéans for info, but there is nothing better than going to an Allanté event. You will see more Allantés than you can shake a stick at, meet the owners, and converse about your second love.

I’m sure some of you own, or know others that have older collectors cars. They are nice to own, but where can you go with them? Most will only travel to local car shows and meets. With an Allanté you can drive across country in comfort and luxury. The trunk big enough for all you luggage, any Allanté parts you may find, and if you have any money left, a little something for your spouse.

Attending the meets is the best way you can improve public awareness, and collector value of our Allantés. For the past three years we have been going to Carlisle Pa. for the GM nationals. If you're not familiar with Carlisle, this is the capitol for collector cars. The management and spectators have been very impressed with the presentation of our babies.

Now as Allanté owners, you owe it to yourself and other owners to participate in as many shows as possible. The more Allantés we get at the meets will help to increase the pleasure of ownership for everyone. (Oh what the heck) It makes us feel better that we invested our money, and time to go to a show.

So please, if you see a listing that interests you, book it! You can always cancel if need be. When calling for a hotel, most will ask, how many booked so far? Just think, you will be added to the list when others call.
